Are you feeling disconnected from God? Do you feel far away from Him? I can assure you; He has not abandoned you-His heart remains towards you but where is yours? Is it facing old behaviors, your career/job, pleasing family and friends, or is it facing yourself (seeking to self-soothe, self-comfort, and self-gratify)?

Has God sown a seed of purpose within you five, ten, fifteen years ago, that seems loss as you have been in the wilderness like David? God has anointed you friend. He has not forgotten the promise He made to you (Hebrews 10:23). There is a specific vision that He has chosen you for.

Who or what do you run to when you are trying to feel safe? Is it a person? A show? A habit? A memory/fantasy? A distraction? Is it yourself? …They will always prove themselves to be inadequate to provide you with the full coverage and protection that you truly seek.

When we repent, trust and abide, God will do all the heart work that will grant us new desires and restore unshakeable joy and peace to our obedience.

His protection is favor. His grace is favor. His mercy is favor. His forgiveness is favor.
