Allow Yourself to be Inspired
Inspiration is everywhere, as long as we have the eyes to see it. Inspiration can come from people, experiences, things we witness, things we read…some many avenues to go down and find that one jewel in a treasure chest that is worth much more than all the others.
Be Still: In The Gap
As things continue to go beyond our control and our anxieties increase, the more we feel our instinctive nature to pounce! Do something! Our foggy brains want to be in the know so it can prepare for the unknown. Our wearied hearts want some knowledge so it can calm down, and know what to expect, and how to respond. However, we are not always granted this privilege in knowing when we want to know it. We have to just sit back and “be still” in the gap of not knowing, but how do we accomplish this without losing our minds and gaining 15 pounds? There are multiple answers, but the one I will focus on today…Worship.
Suddenly
Have you ever had a vision of something, maybe about a career, a spouse, a business, your future, that seems so out of reach from where you are at the moment but it seemed so tangible that ironically it sees impossible that it won’t happen? However, it also seems so perfect because it brings so much peace and calmness to your spirit and heart, that you almost feel unworthy of it therefore “it can’t happen”? I have had dreams, I have had wishful thinking, but there are certain visions that I cannot shake. The Lord revealed to me that these are visions that He has given me because they are of His will and are meant to come to pass, but in His time. The beauty of His timing is that it always: Suddenly.
The Wilderness
Oh, the wilderness, so many times has it appeared in scripture as a means for purifying, strengthening, and building one’s faith, but we are never meant to remain there, much less die there. We are always meant to be brought out of the wilderness because it is just a transitional destination to our Promised Land, located between glory and glory.
